IHME Days takes over the Old Student House in Helsinki on March 26-28 – and is louder than ever! The annual festival dedicated to contemporary art, held for the second time, has drawn its theme from the works of Susan Philipsz, the artist to conceive the IHME Project 2010. The themes of the IHME Days presentations, discussions and workshops are Sound as Art Work and Art in Public Space.
The IHME Days also offer the public unique opportunities to find out about sound and audio expression. The largest IHME workshop will be blasting with sound when Petri Sirviö and Mieskuoro Huutajat (Men´s Choir The Shouters) will create a sound work with 150 audience participants.
