In April the IHME Days visitors will get a chance to imagine a different world in a comics workshop led by visual artist Katja Tukiainen. Tukiainen’s IHME workshop was voted by the audience in an audience competition held in autumn 2013 and will be realized at the Ateneum Art Museum during the IHME Contemporary Art Festival. The participants’ comics are drawn in poster size and placed on election billboards to be publicly viewed in the surroundings of the Central Railway Station and the Ateneum Art Museum in April. Some wonder if the world doesn’t turn into a nicer place!

IHME Workshop in the Ateneum Art Museum on Saturday 5 April and Sunday 6 April at 11:00-16:00 (include breaks). Free admission!

Read more about the workshop. Advance booking by March 28! During the breaks the participants can visit the Tove Jansson exhibition at the museum.
