IHME festival’s Saturday will see the launch of several fresh interpretations of Yael Bartana’s film True Finn – Tosi suomalainen. Director of the National Theatre Mika Myllyaho and researcher Kati Mikkola will start the day with their own reflections on the film, and in the afternoon Yael Bartana herself will discuss it with Swedish curator Maria Lind.

We look forward to a lively discussion with the audience, too. There is also a social media wall where you can post questions and comments via Twitter or SMS. Tati Freeke-Suwarganda will tell the story of the survival of the Dutch cultural organization, SKOR Foundation for Art and Public Domain, including its past projects and plans for the future. The day’s programme will end with a discussion led by Amnesty’s Executive Director Frank Johansson, who has invited an extremely interesting group of guests to discuss human rights.

Saturday evening’s highlight is the IHME Club, devised by Jimi Tenor and Nicole Willis. Kick up those heels!

Free admission to everything! Cloakroom fee of 3 Euros for the Club.
