Do you like performing? Do you play one or more instruments?
At the Busking School on Saturday 2 April at 12-14 you will learn in a relaxed setting with top musicians Stephen Paul Taylor and Juho Kanervo. For the workshop you will need your own instrument – and ask your band or co-musicians to join you.
Apart from the workshop, the Busking School also includes lectures, at 15-16, for which registration is not required. You will get outline information on the history of busking and on legislation in different countries. You will also hear about the cavalcade of inventive, gifted performers that Pavel Klusák has seen in various parts of the world while helping the artist set up the Tram Buskers’ Tour. At 14:00-15:00 there will be a showing of Dalibor Zíta and the BuskerVille community’s documentary about busking in Prague. The documentary is in Czech, with English subtitles. Duration c. 52 minutes.
